A Temporary Bandcamp

As part of this project, we have opened a Bandcamp store – with a difference.

I read an Instagram comment recently from Rawtrachs about their music. They said something along the lines of once their music has been uploaded to Bandcamp, it no longer feels special as it stays there forever.

This partly inspired the idea of A Temporary Space. I always liked the idea of a temporary return for the blog, and the same for this mini-project. This concept has now been extended to our Bandcamp page.

I spoke with a friend recently about ours being like a pop-up shop for this series of posts. Imagine the blog as an exhibition, and the Bandcamp is a gift shop. The thing is, not everything I’m posting will be available, and it’s all free. The idea is if there is something you hear that you like, you may be able to pick up a copy before we close down.

Similar to a real pop-up, our Bandcamp page won’t be open all the time.

It will be open on weekends, from now until 13 December 2026.

New titles will be added weekly, and some of the releases may find a more permanent home at a later stage. But for now, feel free to grab yourself a freebie.

Thanks to Rawtrachs for the idea, and inspiring me with Futurepast Zine.
