The first guest mix since the blog’s return is by Boj Lucki from Bukva Sound, a drum and bass label operating out of Stockholm, Sweden. The label was launched to help spread the sound coming out of the Scandinavian scene around the world. They release music by emerging breakbeat & jungle producers from the region as well as more established artists from further afield, like UK producers Response & Pliskin, THUGWIDOW and Peeb.

They have also released tracks by Coral, DJ Sofa, Vilhelm Hasselgren, Coco Bryce, Tim Reaper, Arcane, FFF, Dwarde, Sonic and Mysimiakos.

As well as running the label, Boj Lucki has also been putting on Bukva Sound club nights in Stockholm and Copenhagen. Guest DJ’s have included Om Unit, Emerald, Sully, Mantra, Double O, DJ Flight and Dead Man’s Chest.

The mix is deep and atmospheric, featuring unreleased and forthcoming music from Seba (who does the mastering for the label), Bungle, Theomega, Friske, Response & Pliskin and Hobzee to name a few.

Expect to hear lots of forthcoming music from Bukva Sound and Okbron, as well as old gems and a very special 2025 version of Seba’s Planetary Funk Alert featuring the late MC Conrad.
